this book will make your English skills advanced
but also make you consider of our current important issues.
(especially, for students who are studying English as a Second language)
it can help us access to a lot of issues that has raised thesedays.
if you wanna get to know about these issues deeply,
i reccommend you to discuss with others. (friends or family..)
and.. I thought it was just only book, not included CD.
Yeah... it was my fault, so even though I didn't need it, paid almost $9 for CD.
Anyway, plz make sure before you order.

Ripped Off

My first purchase of this series was Face the Issues, published years ago. It worked well with ESL classes. So, I recently spent quite a bit of money to purchase both Consider the Issues and Raise the Issues. The formats have changed for each NPR interview, and I notice that students do not feel as enthusiastic with either the topics or the sections dealing with details and main ideas.
However, my main concern is that book and cd are sold separately, and that the publisher no longer includes the audio script in the book. In fact, to date, I have been unable to acquire audio scripts. They are supposed to be available on the publisher's website, but you have to have a "password", which is only available, according to the website, if you are a student purchasing the book in the "university bookstore."
Wouldn't it have been nice if the publisher had been a little more conscientious about giving us all of the product, instead of piecemealing it for extra profit?
