About the Author
After graduating from Oxford and pursuing further academic studies at Reading, James Taylor spent twelve years working in central government. Great read!

Having recently acquired a W124 coupe to restore mechanically and hang onto as a daily driver, this was a great read, and gave me a sense of the rich history of these cars. Lots of great information and advice here, particularly around the need to find an independent specialist both for cost and knowledge reasons. When these cars are in top running condition the driving experience (especially on the M104 24v engine) is something else. Overall an excellent book!
